Double Helix

A cosmic glow shadowed a narrow silhouette traveling the dulled ivory brickwork at the front of Holloman Hall. The din of student activity masked the slight noise of an electric motor. The sound ceased in an instant, the classroom brightened, and a slight-framed professor stepped away from his Segway. "e;My name is Gavin Kim."e; He advanced to his first slide. "e;Criminology 101."e;The professor climbed the stairs to the opposing wall of the auditorium with the force of a tropical gust. It was akin to that moment, before a kettle sounded- compressed might, in a frame that hardly looked suitable.
