Why do I write?I write because it brings me great joy andGod gives me the ability to pen words to paperIn the midst of my pain I writeIn sorrow I writeIn the midst of my totally devastating journey through illnessI writeYea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of deathI writeFor all the days I wanted to sing and was not allowed to I writeWhen I look in to the pain in my daughters eyes I then writeThrough long suffering I writeIn the midst of my lifes storms I writeIn the good times I write and happy times I writeFrom a child when I needed to get away Id writeI write because it makes me happyWhy do I write? My heart sings out the words from my mindIn this my lifes writings there will be expressions of love,thoughts, hope, dreams and emotionsSo as you look into the corner you will findPieces of my heart pen to paperFrom the corners of my mind I write.
