Diagnostics and repair of industrial equipment composite materials

The monograph sets out the main diagnostic methods and repair methods for units and parts of industrial equipment, which make it possible to perform with high efficiency both an assessment of its operational state and a reliable restoration of parts most susceptible to wear and other types of damage. The first chapter describes the goals and objectives of technical diagnostics, organoleptic and instrumental methods of technical diagnostics, the sequence of inspection of mechanical equipment, methods and means of non-destructive testing, analysis of results and decision-making. The second chapter is devoted to new technologies for the repair of various parts and units of mechanical equipment using modern composite materials.
