Kajiya's been destined to lead her tribe since birth, and she can hardly wait. There's just one little problem. She's a girl.Still recovering from her latest encounter with the spiedes, Kajiya and her friends set out for Royalin to warn the Grand Assembly about Turten's plot. Their travels are anything but uneventful as they encounter the Palinda tribe, a stranger who is far more than he seems, and a presence that none of them can explain-or deny.
