Believe me, I know. My name is Anala Geil. I am the daughter of the Leaders of the Society of Hunters. I was born to hunt vampires. But I made one fatal mistake. My life changed irrevocably, and I was forced to become the Cloaked One.

Nearly six-hundred years after vampires became nothing more than a Hollywood trend, I am faced with an impossible situation.

I must resurrect the Society and teach an eclectic group of teenagers how to hunt and kill Cursed Ones. There's just one major problem. I am what they hunt.
