Day My Class Broke All the Rules

She was a painter, entrepreneur, and mom, and wife. She and her wonderful husband Bobby had been together for eighteen years. Her love for God, her family, and art was what kept her going when they lost everything back in 2017. They had to start from scratch which made her so heartbroken and embarrassed. She never wanted to feel that pain again. So she started opening up about it to others and started a little surfboard painting business along with being a fulltime teacher.Her family helped her hand saw over 1000 small surfboards. Then she would sit at the beach three days a week for twelve hours, hand painting surfboards. After just two months, she had earned $20,000. It was so empowering for her to be in control of her finances.When she moved back to Texas, a friend asked if she would still teach group painting, like she did in Florida. So she began to offer Ladies Night Out paint events. It gave her the extra money and courage to take the business to the next level. She now only teaches part time and does painting events full time.
