Danger on Roan Mountain

Leaving Tallahassee, Florida, and her dead-end job as a reporter behind her, journalist Mari Ross travels to Roan Mountain in upper East Tennessee to take a Writers Residency. At her side is Rambo, the white German Shepherd she rescued. Together they navigate hairpin curves, dense wilderness, and treacherous trails in search of adventure near the famed Appalachian Trail.

A part of Mari's residency agreement is to interview and record the stories of Roan Mountain on behalf of the community, but not everyone approves of an outsider taking on this task. When things begin to happen, she wonders, is someone stalking her? Is there a murderer on Roan Mountain?
