Dancing with the Big Elephant in the Room

This is an account of what it is like to have cancer. It is a story about men but just as much about those who love them - spouses, children, and friends. It is my story as a man and also my wife's story . . . Ellen and I have been through the trials and tribulations of over eleven years of cancer, but we also experienced the joys of our deepening relationship along the way. You might be able to imagine what the process of dancing with 'the big elephant' involves . . . Ellen and I have danced that journey together.
