Dance In The Rain: Little Black Girl

My earliest memory is of a little black girl left alone to fend for herself. Well, at least that is what it felt like at the time. Watching as her mother walked away in the distance down a long dirt road. She felt abandoned. The little girl did not understand at that moment what was happening. Her mother kissed her and gave the little black girl a hug, saying "I'll be back for you."
