Cote d'Ivoire (The war over our resources)

The story of Cote d'Ivoire with the encounter of France, UN, and the international community, is the consequence of not being a sovereign country. The former French colonies in Africa are still reeling under colonial rules, despite they all acquired INDEPENDENCE from 1960. Their resources belong to France, their economies are controlled by France because their currency was designed by France, and it is printed in France. All foreign currencies belonging to each country, are lodged in the treasury of France. They are not allowed to deal with another country in terms of commerce without prior approval from France.
