Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. The present volume is an attempt to prepare the ground for a convincing exposition of the strong points of Scholastic Cosmology. The main difference between it and most con temporary treatises on the same topic is a more generous usage of the historic method in the treatment of metaphysical problems: a revival, as the Introduction points out, of the precept and practice of Aristotle and St. Thomas.
