DescriptionThe Communalist Manifesto explains centuries-old communalism and compares it with relatively new capitalism and socialism. The study partly draws on indigenous economics, the study of the economic life of indigenous peoples, world-wide, marginalized or not. This study identifies the framework of each economic system. In comparing the three economic systems, it goes beyond the known concept modes of production to modes of redistribution, consumption and finance. Communalism is subject to threats such as neocolonialism and pseudo-ideologies. Capitalism and socialism and their superstructures are subject to limitations. This book explains how to develop communalism and improve the appeal of capitalism and socialism. The author, Professor Chinyamata Chipeta, has published five related books, including Money and Credit in an Indigenous African Context (2011) and Principles of Indigenous Economics (2012). The Communalist Manifesto was first published in 2014, reviewed favorably and distributed widely. This is its second edition. Keywords: Capitalism, communalism, socialism.
