Cloud Migration from on-premise data center to AWS at PT.XYZ

Bachelor Thesis from the year 2018 in the subject Computer Science - Applied, , language: English, abstract: The purpose of this project is to understand the constraints and needs of PT. XYZ and migrate its servers to the cloud, using a migration method and vendors selection that best suits with PT.XYZ environment and goals. This research begins with requirements and problems analysis from related departments. The authors compare data and information about how the existing business process and infrastructure goes with the future business process and infrastructure after the project done which is illustrated using activity diagram, then proceed with the analysis of the migration method selection. The results are the comparison between the existing method and which method is best suited to PT.XYZ migration goals. The conclusion is, this project aims to migrate several servers on-premise in PT.XYZ to AWS cloud using hybrid-cloud approach and REMICS method for the migration. With the migration of on-premise servers to the cloud, it will help to facilitate the company to be able to monitor and control their servers while optimizing their data center, which ended up on cost savings and efficiency gains.
