The Clearing in the Wood is the story about Vera, a middleagedperson whose experience of reality has been shatteredby tragedy, on a quest to find the meaning of life. Her journeytakes her through the world of science, friendship and out intothe wood where she ascends a strange mountain and therebyventures into an unknown world that transforms her life as sheinteracts with a young Indian boy and finally meets Paul, a sagelikerecluse. The Clearing in the Wood aims at restoring the ideaof truth within the human condition, where it has been all butvanquished throughout the past century.
