Celluloid Comrades

Offers an introduction to the representation of male homosexuality in Chinese cinemas. This work states that representations of male homosexuality in Chinese film are polyphonic and multifarious, posing a challenge to monolithic and essentialized constructions of both ""Chineseness"" and ""homosexuality.
