'Campfire Stories for Robots ' is the story of a night of stories. Set sometime in the dubious future, three teenage girls and a teen FemBot gathered together on Hallowe'en night, inside a haunted house to see who can tell the scariest story. None of their tales are nearly as strange as what ends up happening to them that fatal night. At times spooky, at times funny ... never predictable, 'Campfire Stories for Robots ' is the type of tale robots will be re-telling on spooky nights gathered around an azide campout. Dr Oolong Seemingly, a man of mystery and obscurity, scoured the past and future gathering odd, cautionary tales to repackage as his own. In 2077 he placed a collection of these writings into a reverse time capsule, which he sent back in time in hopes of gathering a future following as an author of some renown. The capsule was opened in 2017 by zenrage (an organization dedicated to the preservation of obscure and/or poorly received works of literature.) This novel was inside. You may enjoy it.
