Café Blessings

As a middle-aged barista at a large cafe on a Christian university campus, Maggie resents having to serve inconsiderate students at the only job that she could find following her husband's death. However, over time she softens and quietly begins petitioning God for the students whose struggles she observes. As the frequency and intensity of her prayers increase, she notices unmistakable changes in the students--and in her own life--changes that could only be attributed to the power and purpose of God. Through Maggie's personal journey of loss, which is interwoven with the trials and triumphs of nine other primary characters, the reader learns the significance and power of intercessory prayer.
