When an explosion at a local elementary school causes a power pole to fall, a young teenager sacrifices herself to save the other children. When finding out the extent of her injuries, young Lizzie must figure out what life will look like from now on for her and her dysfunctional family, narcissistic mother and nearly-absent father included.
