Breakthrough: I'm still here

I'm still here...can you say that again? I'M STILL HERE There is no wall in our lives that we can't overcome with the help of Jesus. Like Peter on the water, we just have to take some steps of faith. We're not alone in our sea of uncertainty, God is with us. Through the winds and waves, all we have to do is take his hand to see beyond the wind. In the trial of relationships, we can trust his character to show us the way through and into greater understanding. "Breakthrough" is a reminder, a message to the Christian who has struggles; you can make it through. You're here for a purpose and now is not the time to give up or throw in the towel. Breakthrough is a guide to help navigate through the winds and waves of everyday life and recurring situations. "Breakthrough" is a book about life, no one's got it perfect. We will all one day face a wall but that doesn't mean we can't face it with a plan, focus, and faith. You're still here You're still here You're still here Keep on standing. "Peter, the one who asked to be granted access to the water's surface, began to sink when he forgot his reason for standing, walking in the midst of a storm. This was a breakthrough moment. It was Peter overcoming the confines of the boat, breaking through and past human understanding to pursue something much greater; Jesus. He was free, he was walking in faith, "on" faith if you will. He was standing on a battlefield where he had to remain focused on the source of his standing. The source of his balance: but Peter hit two walls when he began to focus on the wind. Instead of asking himself, "who is keeping me afloat?" he asks, "how suddenly will I be blown over and drown?" After having accomplished something none of us could imagine doing today, Peter sank because he allowed his eyes and perception to become walls that would halt his steps from pursuing Jesus. He became convinced of fear more than he was given to faith. All he had to do was keep walking, keep going until he embraced Jesus in the sea."
