One courageous step. Sometimes that's all it takes to change your life. At least that's how it was for Annie Reed. Taking a leap of faith, Annie leaves behind family and friends in Seattle to move to Magnolia Creek, a small town in rural Virginia-to a house full of treasured but distant childhood memories, the house on Smith Lane. As Annie begins her adventure of self-discovery, she finds herself with a somewhat unconventional, ready-made family in the form of three older but quite entertaining women who provide Annie with a unique perspective on life, love, faith, and family; preparing her for the incredible journey she began with that one courageous step.
