Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. One of the features of this work which I thought would commend itself to the public is the picture gallery, containing the likenesses of many skilled berry growers, most of whom are contributors, who have had marked success in their calling and who are honorably known the country over. Certainly it will gratify many readers to look into their honest faces, to come to know them better, and thus appreciate them more.
