Between Two Worlds

Between Two Worlds is the second in a trilogy about orphanage boys Samuel and Jimmy. The two men are swept up in the turmoil of World War One as they enlist in the New Zealand army and are sent overseas to fight. The toll on their families and the plight of those left behind is a stark reminder that war affects those at home as much as those who defend their country on foreign soil. There are casualties in both places.
