Bequia Reflections

This is a collection of shetches and paintings by American artist Julie Savage Lea, selected from works inspired by trips made to Bequia since 1978. She has visited this tiny Caribbean island, just south of St Vincent in the Grenadines, many times and her work explores its mystery and beauty from different viewpoints and through different media. The vibrancy of Caribbean life is captured in her vivid use of colour and changing style to produce a record of life on Bequia over the past 20 years.
