Awkward Sleep

The hangman did his job. It was so real that the dream even left the rope marks on his neck. The noose was to haunt him even in England. Everything in the dream was coming true. Would he be extradited and hanged? Even thousands of miles away they were accusing him.

The Judge pronounced the verdict, "Guilty as charged. You must hang for your heinous crime!" The rope was fitted and snuggled under his right ear. The trap dropped then there was nothingness.
