Auld Lang Syne

This is a book about life. Consequently, it deals with the passage of time. Beginning with the fresh bloom of Spring and ending in cold, raw Winter, it tracks the recurring circle of the seasons. The protagonist, Robert Burns, named after the Scottish poet, was deliberately cast as a reporter so as to provide a way to explore the many facets of commonlife.
