Evangeline doesn't dream anymore. Cancer has taken everything -her will, her youth, her life. When doctors diagnose her as terminal, Evi and her mother lose all hope. Thanks to the aid of a dream research company Evi can participate in a trial program, one where she can experience any adventure she would like in a simulation. Under one stipulation. Evi risks death in reality if she dies in simulation, possibly forfeiting what little time she has left. With the help of young Remiel, a boy with his own fatal diagnosis, Evi embarks on her very first adventure as a pirate on an epic voyage. During her adventure Evi encounters monsters on a quest for treasure, risking the remainder of her life in a refusal to go down without a fight as a victim of cancer.
