Asymptotic Development of Steady State Electromagnetic Fields

Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. This paper presents two forms of asymptotic expressions for the steady state electromagnetic field, arising from a periodic source, in the form of series whose basic variable is the wave-length. The series need not be convergent but can at least furnish an asymptotic representation of the field which is useful especially at small wave-lengths.
