As it never was

In this collection, the poet reveals his feelings of loss, defeat, and emptiness after losing his mother and father in one year. He finds himself a young child who has lost the compass of life that was tuned to the rhythm of his mother''s heartbeat, lost in the open air, feeling his father''s arms that used to give him balance, declaring his defeat in the fight. In front of the days, and reluctant to write poems to his beloved; Words have no meaning in the face of the series of daily defeats and repeated death victories. When he wakes up from his sleep, on that night he spent with his mother six months after her passing, he remembers when he was once a young man in his twenties, clutching a bundle of poetry, fidgeting on the stairs of the College of Medicine, carrying a bundle of dreams in his chest.
