An Island Village

This book is a family narrative told through stories, memories and research about life on a small village named Colijnsplaat, located on North Beveland Island, Zeeland, in the North Sea. It is written by Beth Merizon, the daughter of the two emigrants from the Netherlands who made their home in America around the turn of the century. This work depicts everyday life in a remote area of the world where life revolved around the waterways surrounding the five islands of Zeeland. It is published posthumously, as the author passed away in 2003.
