An Ascending Call

Many of the most significant events in Israel's history did happen on the heights of literal mountains. It is no accident that at the beginning, middle and end of Jesus' ministry, mountain played a crucial role.The mountain has always been a place named in the Bible where God would call His people. The mountain has always been viewed as a place where a person would get closer to God. Even among pagan worshippers, mountain was important. The high place has always represented spiritual contact. Through so many people in Bible, God is calling us to different mountains. There is an invitation extended to us to ascend. It is an ascending call
