Alva Gingerich & His Coon Dogs

Alva Gingerich was born in Kansas in 1881 but he grew up in the Fulton, Missouri area. Like most boys of that time period, he grew up hunting and fishing when he had time from his chores. He continued these activities on into adulthood. In Oklahoma, in addition to his regular job, he raised hounds, mainly coon hounds. Alva put together a small photo album containing a variety of photos of him, his friends, his dogs, and the coon skins.
