In this work, Zaidan narrates, through the story of Al-Abbasa, the sister of Caliph Harun Al-Rashid, important historical events, combining in his narration the logic of the historical novel. Based on imagination, the construction of characters and details of the scene, and the logic of historical material based on actual facts and events, the work included the Baramkeh catastrophe and its causes. It also included a description of the councils of the Abbasid caliphs, their clothes, their processions, and the civilization of their state in the Rashid era.
