About Women and Men

pocket, 2002

About Women And Men graphically depicts how civilization evolved into a patriarchal society, with women subservient to men. Though fictional, it accurately depicts recent historical discoveries not yet commonly known.

About Women and Men deals with Equalitarian Values in mating relationships, hoping to improve our future. We are all currently a symphonic mix of Equalitarian Values and Patriarchal Values, two opposite systems created by people living long ago. Starting the 3rd millennium our world operated in a system strongly tuned towards Patriarchal Values. The history of how this patriarchal tuning evolved is important to understand, because men used the system to make women subservient to them for more than four-millennia. Our prayer for the 21st century is a more harmonious future of Equalitarian Values in relationships between women and men. True equality at the family level could build like a mighty symphony, creating harmony and peaceful resolution of differences throughout the world. True equality does not mean merely giving women equal rights to adopt Patriarchal Values. True equality does mean an honest shifting of values in all relations between women and men, making Equalitarian Values gradually more and more predominant during the 21st century. All children are born vulnerable! Without knowledge of how our current system of Patriarchal Values came to dominate Equalitarian Values; they logically trust parents, teachers and peers to explain appropriate behavior and conformity to a patriarchal society's demands. As a system of Equalitarian Values is totally opposite to a system of Patriarchal Values, thought created long ago affects how we live life in relationship with another person. Hence the necessity of a Two-Part Screenplay, Part I as follows and Part II currently in production: Part I: Subjugation Of Women And Civilization's Dark Ages (10,000 BCE to 1960 CE), Part II: Dawn Of Civilization And The Rebirth Of Women (1960 CE to the Future).
