Abel and Mabel Leaf Long Friends

In the center of the park stood a mighty oak and sugar maple. They had stood there longer than anyone could remember. Year in, year out, they stood side-by-side. One was tall, the other spread its branches wide. They were so close their branches were almost touching.This is the story of two leaves. One a bright oak, the other a brilliant maple. It is a story of friendship, change, growing up, self-awareness, our similarities and differences, overcoming adversity and conflict, being scared, and the circle of life and death.
