A Faceted patent classification & Technology landscape of Water Purification

A new Faceted (analytico synthetic) patent classification is introduced. Inventions are analysed to synthesise classifications, and these synthesised classification are used to classify patents. Water purification technology landscape is built using the faceted classification as a case study.
