The drama centres around an ordinary family Torvald Helmer, a bank lawyer, his wife Nora, and their three little children. A Doll's House is a classic fiction masterpiece of theatrical craft which, was the first of its time to portray the tragic hypocrisy of Victorian middle-class marriage.
