300 Miles to Cremyll

Amidst its caves, cliffs, coves, chasms and curiosities, harbours and headlands, inlets and islands, tin mines and tunnels, bays and beaches, the Cornish coastline retains many secrets, legends and stories while offering some of the most stunning and spectacular scenery in the world. Originally sculptured out of the clandestine activities of the 18th century smugglers, the 296 mile coast path that sinuously threads its way along the very edge of this dramatic clifftop coastline is heaped in history and intrigue. All that is needed for the uninitiated and enthusiastic explorer is a guide through this wild and wondrous grandeur from someone who has walked it. This therefore is the story of one man's experiences, eulogies and opinions during a 21 day trek from Marsland Mouth in the north and Cremyll in the south, a 300 mile journey just waiting to be rhapsodised over and written about.
