Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. The great length of many of the documents has compelled me to print in an Appendix most of the military despatches from America and India, and numerous other important letters and minutes. Among these will be found the details of the surrender of York Town, and the papers relating to the Zemindar settle ment, which are peculiarly interesting.
