Young Historians Club: Aapi History

Charnaie Gordon of @hereweeread and author-illustrator Bri James present the follow-up to Young Historians Club: Black American History with a deck that features activists, civic leaders, artists, scientists, athletes, inventors, and other history makers from the past and present.

Brightly illustrated cards provide inspirational facts about well-known and lesser-known individuals such as Vice President Kamala Harris, George Takei, Yo-Yo Ma, Gyo Fujikawa, Patsy Mink, and Sunisa Lee. Also included is a colorful activity booklet with reading recommendations, games, and fun ideas for how to use the cards.
