The Diary of Benjamin Carpenter, Tank Corps

This is a simple snapshot of a year in the life of my Grandfather whilst still serving in the Tank Corps at their Central Workshops in France in 1919.
It gives an insight in the day to day routine of the soldiers there, how they spent their days, what they ate etc whilst awaiting demobilisation.
