Tactics Move by Move

Tactical skill is vital. A player with 2000 level tactics and 1200 positional play will do much better than a player with 1200 level tactics and 2000 level positional play.

This is book 3 in a series of 5 books. These contain puzzles designed to help you improve both looking ahead and recognising tactical patterns.

Books become progressively more challenging. Unlike other tactical books, you need to solve puzzles move by move.

There will be lots of surprises with checkmates, forks, pins, skewers, discoveries, trapped pieces, tied pieces, pawn promotion etc.
