Obraztsy dlja kopirovanija. Golova / Drawing Samples for Copying: Head

I.E. Repin Institute and Artindex publishing house have prepared a gift for all lovers of academic drawing - a collection of samples for copying. These are high-quality reproductions from originals from leading museum collections.
In order to determine the necessary minimum from the methodological point of view, the publishing house turned for help to the Department of Drawing of the Repin Institute. Thus, under the guidance of Vladimir Mogilevtsev, Head of the Department of Drawing, and Dmitry Dergunov, a teacher, 16 drawings by old masters were selected for systematic copying.

The samples are published in full size, which allows to better feel the graphic material (book reproductions and the Internet distort their scale) and get closer to understanding the visual language of the masters and their techniques.
The range of authors is selected in such a way that, firstly, everyone can find a master to his liking and, secondly, according to the level of training. We hope that this manual will help to make significant progress in performing skills.
