Hippies, Vandals and an Alien Called Pete

Stephen Elliot's days as a youngster in 'Windhill Tales' give way to the late 1960's, early 70's as he leaves home to share a house with friends in Baildon. Independence transforms his life into a series of bold ventures. In an era where music was king, Stephen and his colourful friends set up venues for folk, blues and rock music at a time when their parents are still besotted by crooners. There are visits to festivals; parties and exploits that shun the straightjacket of their childhood. Camping trips to the Yorkshire Dales, an alternative Olympic games in which beer features highly, discovering what witches do at Samhain all provide variety. It's a rite of passage that rocks and rolls with the times. Then, there's the strange meeting with Pete, the alien, on Baildon Moor, and behind the scenes the vandals plot a grey revolution.
