This book charts the creative path of the Italian jewellers Lyda Toppo and Bruno Coppola. Famed in the 1960s for their intricate, vibrantly coloured clustered beads, they worked for top fashion designers including Valentino, Dior, Balenciaga, and Pucci as well as many Hollywood stars.

The author of this book first glimpsed the jewels of Coppola e Toppo in 1987 at an auction house in Milan. Instantly fascinated by their powerful colours and their diverse shapes and motifs, she developed an overwhelming passion for these stunning creations.
