Chieveley Remembered

A story of Chieveley, a Berkshire village situated on the edge of the Downs, its schools, shops, farms, public houses, and sporting venues, and the changes which have taken place since the early 1930's, particularly the impact of the Second World War on village life with the influx of evacuees and military personnel. The book also includes anecdotes relating to many village characters together with some of their sporting achievements.
