Cheam Past and Present

How much has Cheam changed? Few changes have been as major as the arrival of the railway and development of the Cheam House estate and brewery in the 1920s and 1930s - subsequent change has been slower and less dramatic. Businesses have changed hands, buildings have been altered, green-field sites have been developed and street furniture replaced. This work brings Cheam's story up to date. It presents older views of the town and compares them with the view from the same spot today, and also exam.
