The witch and wizard council has amassed a huge army as Portia plans the total destruction of the Sanctuary and its magic. But first they must defeat the Landlord and Aeryn, along with the witch and goblin worlds.

Meanwhile Cissy, the insane leader of the Sanctuary remains in her prison, and without her there is little hope. Catrin enters the land of the dead in a desperate search for a cure but must face many dangers if she is to find it in time to free Cissy from her madness.
