Sacrifice

When the world burned, I was called to go on an adventure. But the time came, and I was afraid. I cowered and ran, and another accepted the challenge, though it cost his life to stop the world burning.I was exiled for my cowardice by my Commander, never more to walk on my beloved world until redemption is explained to me. Now I am running from him in anger and fear.I am not idle in my exile; no, the Commander would never allow that. I have been commissioned to an Earthling, to guard him and lead him to the light. Now I find myself on the journey to have redemption explained to me, and my heart is burning.
