Religion in Social Conflict

This book recognizes the problemareas and concerns of eachinstitution or social force. We mustrecognize, acknowledge, support andencourage the primary function ofeach institution and will recognize andestablish a working relationship withthe leaders of each institution and willcome to an agreement with them oninstitutional goals and objectives. The presence of social institutionsfrom ancient times and the universalpresence of most of the main typesof them in all known societies point to the fact that societies cannotexist without them. This obvious indispensability indicates fundamentalcauses or impelling reasons for their existence. They must performfunctions which are essential to the life of societies. They must becharacteristic of human nature as these express themselves in socialcontacts and situations among associated human behavior which arecalled social institutions. As a newly formed corporation UNOCOM: Unity of the Community will beengaged in educational activities of the institutions of society.
