Emotionally insulated, Grayson Thomas, an unhappily married father of three, is suddenly wrested from his predictable and dissatisfying day-in, day-out routine by an unspeakable tragedy that renders him adrift in an abyss of pain and loss. Devoid of experiencing emotion for years, he is forced to negotiate difficult circumstances personally and professionally without coherence of direction. His struggle with these issues intensifies when he realizes his pain and loss and resultant despair were orchestrated by the diabolical presence of a no name man with a predilection for chaos and an inability to suppress his psychotic urges. Grayson, faced with this knowledge determines a direction taking him to dangerous situations he finds both foreign and familiar. Determining the no name man has no intention of stopping, he finds himself seeking refuge in answers found in most basic compartments of emotion and reaction resulting in his embracing instinct and exacting ultimate revenge rejecting notions of conscience and bringing him face to face with.....THAT WHICH IS HUMAN.
